Convergent universal signaling platform (Bee-CUSP)
Operators keep bringing creative and useful new services to end users. Equipment vendors and developers must churn out these new applications and require the most flexible tools to do so.
Applications on the cusp of mass adoption
Bee-CUSP is a rich development environment for equipment and application vendors to deploy mobile and fixed telephony applications on current and future networks. Furthermore, Bee-CUSP takes care of fault-tolerance and scalability issues, allowing new applications to be deployed right away on corresponding Bee-IRON nodes.
- its development environment covers all protocols supported by Bee-IRON, allowing interception of all network triggers,
- its resilient and scalable distributed architecture meets the 5 nines availability requirements of operators,
- its architecture allows for optimal use of computing resources and for linear scalability: for instance, an 8-server node runs 64 simultaneous copies of an application serving 40 million subscribers.
Bee-CUSP supports:
- proxy mode for HLR, EIR or MSC,
- triggers for roaming, traffic interception and transcoding,
- SIP or Diameter proxy,
- C, C++ and Java APIs: TCAP, SIP, Diameter,
- C, C++ APIs: SCCP, MTP3,
- C, C++ management API, command line interfaces and SNMP agents.
